Job summary

Insurance Claim HQ, a growing plaintiff property litigation practice, seeks a Texas Property Litigation Paralegal for a remote role. You will work closely with attorneys to move cases forward, manage deadlines, and maintain proactive client communication across Texas-based matters.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of Texas civil litigation experience and exposure to Property & Casualty matters; personal injury civil litigation is also considered.

• 1+ year of Texas civil litigation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Texas civil litigation matters.
• Property & Casualty litigation experience preferred.
• Personal Injury or other civil litigation experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage Texas property-casualty litigation matters from pre-suit through resolution.
• Monitor and calendar deadlines, court dates, hearings, depositions, mediations.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and other litigation documents.
• Coordinate with clients, insurance representatives, contractors, and third parties as needed.
• Maintain regular, proactive communication with clients, providing updates on case status and milestones.
• Collaborate with attorneys and the litigation team to help achieve the best possible outcome.

Texas Property Litigation Paralegal (REMOTE)

Insurance Claim HQ is seeking a Texas Property Litigation Paralegal to join our growing Plaintiff Property Litigation practice. This role is ideal for an experienced legal professional who enjoys taking ownership of their work, staying ahead of deadlines, communicating with clients, and working closely with attorneys to move cases forward.

Our practice represents insureds in disputes involving storm damage, fire losses, water losses, and other significant property insurance claims. As a Texas Property Litigation Paralegal, you’ll work closely with our attorneys to advocate for policyholders throughout the litigation process. You’ll play an important role in keeping cases organized, moving litigation forward, and ensuring our clients receive consistent, proactive communication and support.

Our practice represents insureds in disputes involving storm damage, fire losses, water losses, and other significant property insurance claims. You’ll work on meaningful cases while gaining hands‑on experience with Texas property litigation.

• Manage assigned Texas property-casualty litigation matters from pre-suit through resolution, keeping cases organized, moving forward, and on schedule.
• Monitor and calendar litigation deadlines, court dates, hearings, depositions, mediations, and other critical case events.
• Prepare, draft, proofread, and organize pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and other litigation documents for attorney review.
• Assist with drafting and responding to written discovery, including requests for production, interrogatories, and requests for admissions.
• Coordinate service and filing of documents and assist with Texas e‑filing requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, insurance representatives, contractors, public adjusters, experts, and other third parties as needed.
• Maintain regular, proactive communication with clients , providing meaningful updates on case status, upcoming milestones, outstanding documents, and next steps.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys and other members of the litigation team to help achieve the best possible outcome for our clients.

• 1+ year of Texas civil litigation experience (Required).
• ~ Hands-on experience working with Texas civil litigation matters is required.
• ~ Property & Casualty litigation experience is strongly preferred.
• ~ Personal Injury or other relevant civil litigation experience will also be considered.

Experience working with Texas courts, procedures, pleadings, deadlines, and litigation processes.

Strong understanding of the litigation process and the ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines.

Experience drafting and reviewing legal documents.

Experience with pleadings, discovery, and other litigation‑related documents.

Our preference is for candidates located in the Greater New Orleans area who can work in our Metairie office.

However, we are open to Texas‑based candidates who have the required Texas civil litigation experience and are otherwise a strong fit for the position.
