Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a Paralegal to support state fair hearing projects, including file review and updating hearing databases. The role involves triaging incoming mail such as requests, motions, and orders to ensure timely actions in line with federal and state requirements.

You will process incoming mail to support team objectives and compliance, and assist the lead attorney with other projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related work experience including 3+ years in litigation.
• Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare is helpful.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and concepts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and database data entry.
• Extensive computer use for reviewing and generating electronic documents.

Responsibilities

• Paralegal will handle state fair hearing projects, including file review and updating hearing databases.
• Triage incoming mail such as state fair hearing requests, motions, orders, and other mail to ensure timely handling.
• Process incoming mail to support team objectives and compliance.
