Formación

• At least 1 year of experience in a legal setting; litigation or medical malpractice preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and medical records review is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle a demanding workload with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and follow state court procedures.
• Associate's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent work experience preferred but not required.
• This on-site role offers immersion and close collaboration with the team.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, prepare, and e-file legal documents in state and federal court.
• Conduct legal research and track key deadlines.
• Request, organize, and summarize medical records; prepare chronologies and issue spotting.
• Prepare and respond to discovery; maintain pleadings, discovery, and exhibit indexes.
• Coordinate depositions, summarize transcripts, and assist with witness preparation.
• Support medical expert coordination and communication.
• Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and appendices with the legal assistant.
• Liaise between trial teams and clients, courts, counsel, providers, and vendors.
• Assist with case settlements and other duties as assigned.
