Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from pre-trial to post-trial. This on-site role offers exposure to a busy practice and collaboration with a seasoned team.

Responsibilities include drafting, e-filing, research, discovery, depositions, and trial prep. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of litigation experience and a paralegal credential, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program preferred.
• Must multi-task, prioritize and manage workload with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; calendar management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda.
• E-file all court documents in state and federal court.
• Communicate with clients, court, counsel, and others.
• Conduct legal research and factual investigation.
• Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses.
• Draft and serve summons and coordinate depositions.
• Prepare trial binders and exhibits.
• Draft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the court.
• Perform calendar and logistics management; maintain case files and documents.
• Assist with case settlements and other attorney tasks.
