Job summary

Thompson Law is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for our Los Angeles Office to support a dynamic team handling commercial trucking and general negligence matters in the Personal Injury sector.

You will draft petitions and motions, manage discovery, and maintain proactive client communication while organizing comprehensive electronic case files. Excellence in documentation, deadlines, and collaboration with attorneys is essential for high-stakes litigation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience in commercial trucking and general negligence.
• 3+ years of Personal Injury law experience.
• Expert knowledge of federal court procedures, including filing and case management.
• Proven success handling cases valued in the 6–7 figure range.
• Comprehensive litigation experience from initial filing through trial.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft petitions, motions, and other legal documents.
• Manage the discovery process, including drafting and responding to requests.
• Maintain proactive client communication with regular updates.
• Organize and maintain electronic case files with accuracy.
• Collaborate with attorneys and team members effectively.
• Be available during trial preparation and proceedings.
