Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. in Philadelphia, PA, seeks a paralegal to work closely with lead attorneys and a legal assistant.

This role will handle pleadings, discovery, and file management in personal injury and related practice areas. The successful candidate will have an associate degree or paralegal certificate, at least two years of litigation support experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience.
• Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program preferred.
• 2+ years of litigation paralegal or attorney-support experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents: pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and memoranda.
• E-file court documents in state and federal court.
• Communicate with clients, courts, counsel, and others.
• Conduct legal research and factual investigation.
• Prepare discovery documents and responses; draft and serve summons.
• Coordinate and summarize depositions; organize exhibits and binders.
• Assist attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests.
• Liaise between trial teams and third parties; support witness prep.
