Kershaw Anderson King, PLLC is seeking an experienced paralegal to assist with civil cases in a busy insurance defense and medical malpractice litigation practice in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on handling medical records, preparing summaries and chronologies, and supporting multiple attorneys across hearings and trials.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of litigation experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in litigation, preferably in insurance defense/medical malpractice.
• Strong ability to obtain, organize, and summarize medical records and related documents.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; capable of coordinating with multiple parties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with civil cases, including handling medical records, summaries, and chronologies.
• Coordinate and schedule mediations, hearings, depositions, client meetings, conference calls, and trial.
• Prepare notebooks for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial; assist with trial prep and support.
• Review, draft, and organize documents; create and maintain privilege logs; Bates label, redact, and index documents.
• Assemble and collate exhibits and legal documents for motions.
