Northern New Jersey-based national plaintiff's litigation firm seeks a Litigation Paralegal Manager to lead a skilled team of paralegals. The role emphasizes strong leadership, workflow management, and a commitment to excellence.

You will supervise assignments, train staff, manage e-filing and document databases, and work with attorneys on complex cases with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 8-10 years of litigation experience.
• Prior experience managing or supervising a paralegal team.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Expertise with federal and state e-filing systems (PACER/ECF).
• Proficiency with legal research tools such as Westlaw or Lexis.
• Experience with document management systems (Relativity or similar).
• Courtroom/trial experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree and a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-certified program preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and manage the paralegal team, overseeing assignments, workflow, and productivity.
• Collaborate with attorneys to identify staffing needs, prioritize assignments, and manage caseloads.
• Train, mentor, and provide guidance to paralegals to improve efficiency.
• Review, blue-book, cite-check, and proofread memoranda, briefs, and other documents.
• Handle electronic court filings for state and federal courts.
• Maintain case files and document databases using PacerPro, NetDocs, Box, and ECFx.
• Assist in pretrial and trial preparation, including exhibits and witness binders.
• Draft subpoenas, notices of appearance, and pro hac vice papers.
