Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking a paralegal to work closely with a lead attorney and legal assistant. The role offers competitive pay with a generous bonus plan and opportunities to support a wide range of personal injury and other matters across the firm.

You will prepare documents, file court papers, and coordinate depositions while interacting with clients and court staff. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of litigation experience, an associate degree or paralegal certification,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation experience
• Ability to multi-task and manage workload with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, and court procedures

Responsibilities

• Prepare pleadings, motions, affidavits, and legal memoranda
• E-file pleadings and other court documents in state and federal court
• Communicate with clients, court, counsel, and others
• Conduct legal research and factual investigations
• Prepare discovery documents and responses
• Draft and serve summons
• Coordinate and summarize depositions
• Prepare trial binders and exhibits
• Manage calendars, hearings, and deadlines; organize case files
