Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an on-site paralegal to work closely with a lead attorney and a legal assistant. This role offers competitive pay and a generous bonus plan, with responsibilities spanning pleadings, e-filing, client and court communications, legal research, discovery, and trial preparation.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years in litigation support or a paralegal role, an associate degree or equivalent, and ideally completion of a national paralegal program.

Qualifications

• Paralegal credential or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience in injury-related practice areas preferred or required.
• Minimum 2 years in litigation support or as a paralegal.
• Must be able to work onsite; remote/hybrid not eligible.

Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda.
• File (e-file) court documents in state and federal courts.
• Communicate with clients, courts, counsel, and others.
• Conduct legal research and factual investigation.
• Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses.
• Draft and serve summons; coordinate depositions.
• Prepare trial binders and exhibits with a legal assistant.
• Support attorneys with pleadings, motions, and appellate filings.
• Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes; organize exhibits and evidence.
