Perry Homes in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support the Litigation team on pre-litigation and litigation matters. You will handle intake, tracking, and file management, and assist attorneys with discovery, subpoenas, and trial prep.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of paralegal/analyst experience, a relevant degree or paralegal certification, and strong MS Office/SharePoint skills. This is an on-site role within a collaborative, fast-paced legal department.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant legal analyst, paralegal, or claims experience.
• College degree preferred.
• Paralegal education or certification preferred.
• Strong time management and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage lifecycle of claims and litigation matters from notice to closure.
• Maintain complete matter files and records.
• Coordinate holds, preservation, collection, and production with attorneys.
• Track court deadlines and hearings.
• Assist with discovery responses, subpoenas, and trial prep.
• Prepare legal documents and correspondence.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on budgets, invoices, and reporting.
• Assist with risk management reporting and dashboards.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
