Job summary

Perry Homes is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support the litigation team with a variety of projects, including evaluating and resolving pre-litigation and litigation matters. The role involves maintaining matter files, coordinating holds, tracking deadlines, and assisting with discovery, trial prep, and budgeting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, a college degree, and proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint. This on-site role offers a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal analyst, paralegal, or claims experience.
• College degree preferred.
• Paralegal Education (Certificate) or Paralegal Certification preferred.
• Strong time management and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of claims and litigation matters from notice through resolution and closure.
• Maintain complete matter files including pleadings, correspondence, discovery, contracts, and settlement documents.
• Coordinate holds, preservation, collection, and production with attorneys and business functions.
• Track court deadlines and other critical dates.
• Assist with discovery responses, subpoenas, document productions, and trial preparation.
• Prepare legal documents and correspondence including settlements and releases.
• Review invoices and assist with matter budgeting and billing compliance.
