Job summary

Hodgson Russ LLP in Rochester is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our busy litigation team, supporting cases from inception through trial.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Studies certification with 3–5 years’ litigation experience and hands-on experience with e‑discovery platforms such as Relativity, Summation, or Concordance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Studies certification with 3–5 years of litigation experience.
• Experience with e-discovery/document review platforms (Relativity, Summation, or Concordance).
• Excellent communication and client service skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, correspondence, subpoenas, and other litigation documents.
• Contribute to all phases of discovery, including paper and electronic discovery.
• Coordinate subpoenas and record requests.
• Prepare medical chronologies, treatment summaries, and damages documentation.
• Assist with deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation.
• Support attorneys during trial proceedings and court-related matters.
