Job summary

A growing and highly respected Mesothelioma/Asbestos law firm in Culver City is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team on a temp-to-hire basis. The firm is looking for a professional with strong litigation support experience who can immediately contribute to case management, discovery, and trial preparation.

While technical skills are important, the firm places equal value on finding the right personality and cultural fit.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
Experience drafting and responding to discovery (templates provided).
Strong knowledge of e-filing procedures in state and federal courts.
Experience with calendaring litigation deadlines.
Trial preparation experience.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and manage discovery, including Form Interrogatories, Special Interrogatories, RFAs, and RFPs.
Utilize and customize discovery templates and shells as needed
E-file documents in California state and federal courts.
Maintain and monitor litigation calendars and critical deadlines.
Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case organization.
Support all phases of litigation from discovery through trial.
