Litigation Paralegal

Pay From: $110,000 per year
MUST:
- Experienced Litigation Paralegal
- 3+ years of law firm litigation paralegal experience
- Experience drafting and filing pleadings, motions, and other court documents
- Experience managing litigation dockets, court dates, deadlines, and case materials
- Knowledge of electronic filing systems, including CM/ECF and Washington, D.C. e-filing
- Experience assisting with discovery and electronic discovery processes
- Experience identifying, preserving, collecting, reviewing, and organizing electronically stored information (ESI)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple matters and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- College degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required
- Knowledge of iManage and Relativity is a plus
DUTIES:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation matters and caseloads
- Organize and maintain court materials, pleadings, discovery, and case files
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents
- Prepare correspondence, memoranda, discovery materials, and other legal communications with minimal supervision
- Manage litigation dockets, matter dates, court deadlines, and filing requirements
- Assist with deposition preparation, including reviewing and digesting deposition transcripts
- Coordinate depositions, hearings, motions, and trial preparation
- Assist with paper and electronic discovery processes
- Identify potentially relevant electronically stored information (ESI)
- Draft and issue legal hold notices
- Coordinate with clients to identify, preserve, and collect relevant ESI and paper discovery
- Assist with processing, reviewing, organizing, and coding ESI
- Support attorneys with trial exhibits, hearing materials, discovery responses, and other litigation-related documentation
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical case files
