Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Litigation Paralegal role based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. The Litigation Paralegal will support trial lawyers in all phases of civil litigation, including case intake, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and organizing legal documents, assisting with pleadings and motions, managing case files and deadlines, coordinating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves conducting legal and factual research, summarizing documents and transcripts, preparing exhibits and trial notebooks, and supporting attorneys during hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. The Litigation Paralegal will collaborate closely with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case management and high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in legal document preparation, including drafting, formatting, and organizing litigation materials.
• Experience with document review, including analyzing records, summarizing evidence, and maintaining organized case files.
• Proficiency in legal research using online databases and other resources to support pleadings, motions, and trial strategy.
• Ability to assist with pleadings and motions, including assembling, proofreading, filing, and tracking deadlines.
• Knowledge of civil litigation procedures in Texas state and federal courts, including e-filing and local rules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines, work collaboratively with attorneys and staff, and maintain professionalism with clients and court personnel.
• Proficiency with legal practice management software, document management systems, and standard office applications.
• Paralegal certificate or degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field; prior litigation paralegal experience is highly preferred.
