Job summary

Adams & Martin Group in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception to trial and resolution.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail. 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience and familiarity with civil litigation or personal injury preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and case management software is required.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent education and experience.
• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience preferred (Civil Litigation or Personal Injury Preferred).
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures and filing requirements.
• Experience managing large volumes of documents and discovery.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Trial preparation experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all aspects of civil litigation matters.
• Prepare, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Manage case files and maintain organized litigation databases.
• Coordinate and track deadlines, court filings, and case calendars.
• Conduct legal and factual research.
• Draft correspondence and discovery responses.
• Organize, review, and summarize medical, business, and other case-related records.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparations.
• Prepare exhibit lists, witness files, trial binders, and other courtroom materials.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, experts, and vendors.
• Assist attorneys during trial and other litigation proceedings as needed.
