Qualifications

• 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Strong knowledge of California state and federal court procedures.
• Proficiency with e-filing systems and litigation support software.
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive litigation support to three attorneys across multiple active matters.
• Draft, revise, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including document collection, review, production, and preparation of discovery indexes.
• Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files.
• Coordinate filings with state and federal courts, including e-filing and service of process.
• Track and manage deadlines, calendars, and litigation timelines.
• Assist with deposition preparation, including exhibit binders and summaries.
• Support trial preparation, including witness lists and trial binders.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support three attorneys in a fast-paced, collaborative, medium-sized law firm environment. This is an in-person role based in our San Francisco office and is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in litigation support from case inception through trial.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive litigation support to three attorneys across multiple active matters
• Draft, revise, and finalize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and correspondence
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including document collection, review, production, and preparation of discovery indexes
• Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files
• Perform legal and factual research as directed
• Coordinate filings with state and federal courts, including e-filing and service of process
• Track and manage deadlines, calendars, and litigation timelines
• Assist with deposition preparation, including exhibit binders and summaries
• Support trial preparation, including witness lists, exhibit lists, and trial binders
• Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and vendors

Qualifications & Experience

• 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm setting
• Strong knowledge of California state and federal court procedures
• Proficiency with e-filing systems and litigation support software
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of professionalism and discretion
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
