Job summary

Henkel is seeking a seasoned Paralegal to support the litigation team, plan and prioritize work, attend meetings in person or by phone, and prepare confidential reports and correspondence. The ideal candidate holds a Paralegal Certificate or has significant hands-on paralegal experience, with at least 5 years in litigation support and proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote and PowerPoint.

What you´ll do

  • Plan and prioritize work to meet litigation team needs.
  • Attend meetings via phone and in-person, taking notes electronically on substantive topics.
  • Assist with development of PowerPoint presentations to key business leaders.
  • Provide follow-up reminders to keep departmental reports and projects on track.
  • Respond professionally to constantly changing time and project demands from multiple sources.
  • Prepare correspondence and confidential reports.
  • Prepare and maintain reserve reports.
  • Organize and maintain confidential files and records.
  • Research a variety of subjects, utilizing appropriate search mechanisms, such as the Internet and legal government databases (e.g., Pacer), and provide concise summary of results.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

What makes you a good fit

  • A Paralegal Certificate or significant hands‑on work experience as a paralegal.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a litigation support function.
  • Experience utilizing advanced digital, information management, and facilitation skills in a corporate or law firm environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability at the proficient user level in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information and analyze factual situations and apply legal principles.
  • Ability to initiate and maintain relationships while collecting data and to solve problems through teamwork.
  • Knowledge of department and processes sufficient to allow for problem resolution or rerouting to source which can handle issue to conclusion.

Thesalary range for this role is $75,000.00 and $95,000.00. This range represents thegood‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offerfor this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, thisposition may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, asapplicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package asdescribed above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as thecandidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location. Thisposting is intended to comply with all applicable state and local paytransparency laws.
