Job summary

Telaré Law is seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys across civil litigation matters. This hybrid/remote-friendly role welcomes candidates based in Washington or Oregon and involves organizing case files, drafting pleadings, performing legal research, and managing discovery.

You will coordinate deadlines, communicate with clients and experts, and assist during hearings, depositions, and trials.

Qualifications

  • Paralegal certificate or degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.

Position Overview

This full-time, hybrid/remote-friendly Litigation Paralegal role supports candidates based in Washington or Oregon. The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of civil litigation, including organizing and maintaining case files, preparing and reviewing legal documents, and coordinating discovery. Daily responsibilities include drafting pleadings and motions, assisting with legal research, managing deadlines and court calendars, and communicating with clients, experts, and court personnel in a professional manner. The role also involves assembling trial binders, preparing exhibits, and supporting attorneys during hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial. The paralegal is expected to work collaboratively with the legal team while managing multiple cases and priorities with accuracy and discretion.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Legal Document Preparation and Document Review, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Legal Research, including using legal databases and summarizing findings for attorney review.
  • Experience drafting and formatting Pleadings and Motions in compliance with court rules and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear, professional client and court interactions.
  • Solid organizational and time‑management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced litigation environment.
  • Comfort with legal practice management software, document management systems, and standard office applications.
  • Prior experience as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant preferred; personal injury or civil litigation experience is a plus.
  • Paralegal certificate, associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
