Boly:Welch's Portland office seeks a motivated Litigation Paralegal to support a dynamic employment practice group. The role involves trial prep, coordinating with attorneys and witnesses, and drafting pleadings and subpoenas for a variety of healthcare and IP matters.

You will handle discovery management, review documents, and coordinate with outside vendors, contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative legal team with strong organizational expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a billable capacity.
• Familiarity with EEOC federal and state procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems.
• Paralegal certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead on trial prep: preparing exhibits and coordinating with witnesses.
• Provide day-of-trial support and draft pleadings, subpoenas, motions, and correspondence.

Your New Role

Due to a recent promotion, this regional firm’s Portland office is seeking a motivated Litigation Paralegal to support a dynamic group of attorneys in their employment practice group. The cases are super interesting and will run the gamut, touching on some healthcare and IP matters initially.

You’ll enjoy the challenge of a varied workload and comradery of the legal support team. In this role, you’ll take the lead on trial prep – preparing exhibits, coordinating with witnesses, and providing day‑of trial support. Your writing skills will be key as you draft legal documents including pleadings, subpoenas, motions, and correspondence. Your discovery management responsibilities will include reviewing documents, overseeing production, and coordinating with outside vendors.
