Job summary

FINITETEK INC is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal based in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will be fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with a strong background in plaintiff's personal injury litigation and in-depth knowledge of Florida civil procedure and e-filing.

The role focuses on managing litigation deadlines, discovery, and trial preparation, including drafting complaints, coordinating service, and maintaining calendars.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in plaintiff's personal injury litigation.
• Full professional fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of Florida civil procedure and the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and identify errors proactively.
• Professional and approachable communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.

Responsibilities

• Draft, e-file, and coordinate service of complaints.
• Maintain accurate litigation calendars, track deadlines, and set reminders in the case management system.
• Prepare discovery requests and coordinate discovery responses with clients in English and Spanish.
• Track Proposals for Settlement and coordinate depositions and mediations.
• Prepare trial notebooks, witness binders, and exhibit binders.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case organization.
• Prepare closing statements and initiate lien reduction processes following settlements.
• Lead weekly calendar reviews to ensure the team stays informed of upcoming deadlines and proceedings.
