Our prestigious law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in personal injury litigation. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex and challenging cases, providing critical support to our team of seasoned attorneys. With at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, the candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of the litigation process and will be ready to hit the ground running in our fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be expected to

• Conduct legal research and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Assist attorneys in hearing and trial preparation, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
• Manage and organize case files, ensuring all relevant information is easily accessible and up-to-date.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials alongside attorneys.
• Maintain a detailed calendar of all case-related deadlines and ensure all are met in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel, acting as a liaison between all parties.
• Draft and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and affidavits.
  
  

Qualifications

The successful candidate for the Litigation Paralegal position will have

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in personal injury litigation or related practice area
• A Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent education/experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A detail-oriented approach, with the ability to spot potential issues before they arise.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
