Job summary

Ascendion in Irvine, CA is seeking an Employment Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle, including case prep and management.

You’ll prepare, file, and serve pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, assist with discovery and document management, and track deadlines while coordinating with courts, opposing counsel, and clients. The role offers a hybrid schedule—3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of paralegal experience with strong litigation and filing fundamentals.
• Employment law experience preferred; strong litigation experience in another practice area considered.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively with attorneys.

You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced employment attorneys in a collaborative, stable environment while supporting complex employment litigation matters from case inception through resolution.

Salary and Other Compensation:

• The annual salary for this position is between [$90,000 – $120,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
