Job summary

ClearpointCo in Downtown Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in Commercial Litigation to join our respected legal team. The role supports attorneys through the full litigation lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will manage complex matters, draft pleadings, coordinate discovery, and prepare trial materials, while maintaining meticulous calendars and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior Commercial Litigation Paralegal experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of the litigation process and court procedures.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and other documents.
• Experience with e-discovery platforms and document review.

Responsibilities

• Draft and manage pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and other legal documents.
• Manage complex case files, docket deadlines, court filings, and calendars.
• Prepare responses to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
• Support e-discovery and document review using Relativity, Logikcull, or Everlaw.
• Organize deposition transcripts and prepare trial materials and notebooks.
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, witnesses, and vendors for depositions and trials.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw or similar platforms.

Commercial Litigation Paralegal | Houston, TX

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in Commercial Litigation to join a highly respected legal team in Downtown Houston.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting attorneys throughout the full litigation lifecycle and be comfortable managing multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities & Experience

• Strong Commercial Litigation experience in state and/or federal courts
• Draft and manage pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and other legal documents
• Manage complex case files, docket deadlines, court filings, and case calendars
• Prepare and respond to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
• Support e-discovery and document review, ideally utilizing platforms such as Relativity, Logikcull, or Everlaw
• Organize and summarize deposition transcripts and prepare factual chronologies
• Prepare trial notebooks, witness binders, exhibit lists, and other trial materials
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, expert witnesses, and outside vendors for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw or similar legal research platforms
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail while managing multiple deadlines and priorities

What We're Looking For

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with attorneys and legal support teams

Compensation & Schedule

Base Salary: Up to $125,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package

Compensation may be flexible depending on the candidate's depth of Commercial Litigation experience and overall qualifications.

Location: Downtown Houston, TX
