Job summary

Boosey Wilson Group | Legal & Professional Talent is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for its downtown Houston office. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of litigation experience, including trial preparation or trial support.

You will support case analysis, draft briefs and pleadings, manage discovery, prepare trial materials, and ensure accurate timekeeping. Strong research, writing, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to handle multiple matters

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience supporting litigation matters.
• Trial preparation or trial support experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and manage multiple matters efficiently.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, and other legal authorities.
• Draft briefs, pleadings, appeals, affidavits, and other documents for attorney review.
• Investigate case facts and applicable law to identify causes of action.
• Assist with collecting, reviewing, summarizing, and organizing discovery materials.
• Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and materials for hearings and trials.
• File pleadings electronically and in person.
• Prepare affidavits of documents and maintain organized document files.
• Accurately record billable time and enter detailed descriptions into the firm's time and billing system.
