Job summary

Taylor Root is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for an onsite, Atlanta-based role (Buckhead Office). The paralegal will oversee complex matters from inception through post-trial, collaborating closely with attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience, strong e-filing capabilities, and hands-on discovery expertise, including e-discovery and trial preparation in sophisticated civil matters.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation.
• Strong state and federal e-filing experience.
• Hands-on discovery and e-discovery experience.
• Experience with trial preparation and courtroom support.
• Experience with complex commercial, real estate, construction, contract, or other sophisticated civil litigation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys on complex commercial, real estate, and civil litigation matters.
• Manage cases through discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial.
• Prepare and coordinate state and federal court filings.
• Manage discovery and e-discovery, including document collection, review, production, and privilege review.
• Maintain case files and litigation documents using iManage.
• Coordinate court deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial dates.
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, witness binders, and other trial materials.
• Provide courtroom and on-site trial support when needed.

A well-established law firm in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its growing litigation practice. This opportunity is ideal for a paralegal who enjoys taking ownership of complex matters and working closely with attorneys throughout the entire litigation lifecycle, from case inception and discovery through trial and post-trial proceedings.

Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys on complex commercial, real estate, and civil litigation matters
• Manage cases through discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial
• Prepare and coordinate state and federal court filings
• Manage discovery and e-discovery, including document collection, review, production, and privilege review
• Maintain case files and litigation documents using iManage
• Coordinate court deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial dates
