Job summary

Taylor Root is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for a contract-to-hire role with a growing legal team in Georgia. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of support experience in real estate litigation, dispossessory (eviction) matters, and general civil litigation throughout the litigation lifecycle.

Responsibilities include managing landlord-tenant disputes, reviewing leases and property records, coordinating filings and hearings, and supporting foreclosure or bankruptcy proceedings

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience supporting real estate litigation and dispossessory/eviction matters is required.
• Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and court procedures.
• Experience managing high-volume real estate and dispossessory caseloads.
• Knowledge of electronic filing procedures and litigation case management systems.

The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload involving landlord-tenant disputes, commercial real estate matters, and related litigation.

Updated Preferred Experience

• Experience with commercial real estate litigation, lease disputes, landlord representation, foreclosure actions, title disputes, and property-related litigation.
• Familiarity with bankruptcy matters affecting real property interests.
• Trial preparation and courtroom support experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced litigation practice handling significant volumes of real estate and dispossessory matters.
