Gerson & Schwartz Accident & Injury Lawyers in South Florida seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling active state and federal cases. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a fast-paced workload.

Responsibilities include assisting in all phases of litigation, drafting documents, coordinating depositions, reviewing medical records, and maintaining case files.

Formación

• Minimum 5-7 years of litigation experience in a Plaintiff's personal injury setting.
• Maritime experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Florida and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
• Proficiency with legal case management software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

• Coordinate depositions, mediation, scheduling hearings in state and federal courts, and trials, including calendaring deadlines and court appearances.
• Organize, review, and summarize medical records, bills, and other evidence.
• Maintain case files and update case management software.
• Assist in trial preparation and the assembly of trial binders and exhibits.
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, and expert witnesses.
