We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our Dallas office. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigation professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and is passionate about supporting complex litigation matters from inception through post-trial proceedings
.The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. This individual will work closely with attorneys, clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel while serving as a critical member of the litigation team
.This is a Hybrid in-office position based in Dallas, Texas and reports directly to the Business Director of the Dallas office. (M-Thur. In Office) )(Friday WFH)
Key Responsibilities
Litigation Case Management
- Assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial, post-trial motions, and appeals
- .Organize, maintain, and manage case files, exhibits, pleadings, discovery materials, and other case-related documentation
- .Ensure case materials and workspaces are client-ready, organized, and efficiently maintained
.Discovery & Document Manageme nt
- Manage all aspects of the discovery process, including drafting and responding to written discovery
- .Prepare attorneys and witnesses for depositions and expert discovery
- .Conduct and oversee large-scale document reviews and productions
- .Track document review progress, maintain review protocols, and report findings to litigation teams
- .Utilize litigation databases and document management systems to organize and analyze case materials
.Legal Research & Analysis
- Conduct factual and legal research utilizing online resources, including Westlaw, Lexis, and other legal research platforms
- .Review, analyze, and summarize documents, deposition transcripts, court filings, and witness interviews
- .Prepare detailed memoranda, fact summaries, chronologies, and analytical reports
- .Perform substantive coding and document analysis for complex litigation matters
.Motion Practice & Court Filings
- Draft routine pleadings, motions, notices, subpoenas, and other court filings
- .Assemble motion papers, exhibits, and supporting documentation
- .Coordinate and manage federal and state court filings, including e-filing requirements
- .Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state procedural and evidentiary rules
- .Perform authority and fact cite-checking, verify case citations, proofread legal documents, and confirm quotations
.Trial Preparation & Support
- Coordinate all aspects of trial preparation and logistics
- .Create and maintain trial notebooks, exhibit binders, witness files, and trial calendars
- .Prepare and manage exhibits and evidence for trial presentation
- .Coordinate witness schedules and communications with courtroom personnel and opposing counsel
- .Assist with post-trial motions, cost applications, sanctions motions, and appellate preparation when necessary
.Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely daily timekeeping records
- .Support attorneys and litigation teams with special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned
- .Participate in department initiatives and contribute to overall team success
.Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience
- .Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution preferred
- .Certified Paralegal (CP) designation is a plus
- .Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Experience
- Minimum of 8-10 years of litigation paralegal experience within a law firm environment
- .Extensive experience supporting complex litigation matters
- .Proven trial experience, including
- :Exhibit preparation and management
- Witness preparation and coordination
- Subpoena preparation
- Coordination with judicial assistants and trial vendors
- Experience handling matters from inception through trial and appeal
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
