Job summary

Seibels Law Firm in Charleston, SC, seeks a Litigation Paralegal for our downtown civil litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have a paralegal certificate (preferred) and a minimum of two years of related experience, with strong personal skills and a team-first attitude.

Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents, transcription, filing motions, scheduling orders, and providing trial support.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate preferred; two+ years of litigation experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Proficiency with MS Office and legal software.
• Familiarity with state and federal courts and e-filing.

Litigation Paralegal needed for small downtown Charleston civil litigation law firm. Candidate preferred to have paralegal certificate and should have minimum two years of related paralegal experience with strong personal skills and team player. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows, Time Matters, TABS and other legal software programs
• Familiarity with State and Federal Courts and e-filing processes
• Familiar with discovery tasks and trial preparation
• Able to handle large document production cases for a busy team
