Chicago - Litigation - Mid to Senior Level - Associate

Lateral Associate

Litigation

Skadden’s Litigation team in the Chicago office is seeking outstanding lateral candidates (Class of 2020 – 2022) with litigation experience, including discovery, brief writing, and pre-trial preparation activity.Exposure and interest in the cybersecurity and data privacy practice is a plus. The ideal candidate has significant experience handling complex litigation and white collar matters, including securities litigation; class actions and MDLs; cyber litigation; commercial contractual disputes; fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and tortious interference claims; merger-related litigation and control disputes; bankruptcy and restructuring-related issues; and regulatory investigation. High level of academic achievement and experience in the Litigation practice of a peer firm are preferred qualifications. Qualified candidates should be admitted to practice law in Illinois.The starting base salary for this position is expected to be between $310,000 to $390,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law. This position may be eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
