Job summary

Coverys in Omaha, Nebraska seeks a Litigation Management Associate to audit vendor invoices, educate panel defense counsel, and develop and implement litigation management programs. The ideal candidate is a law graduate with 1–3 years of legal practice, strong analytical skills, and experience with NetCore and Datalytics.

Qualifications

Law degree and practice experience (1–3 years) in civil litigation preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and communicate effectively.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interact with outside counsel and develop litigation management programs.

Responsibilities

Audit invoices from panel firms, coverage counsel, and litigation support vendors for production, timeliness, and quality.
Educate panel firms on in-house litigation management programs and legal billing practices.
Develop and implement procedures for the in-house operation and training of staff in legal audit procedures.
Analyze firm performance and generate legal audit data and reports; maintain billing compliance databases.
Coordinate with claim staff on budget, approval, and case management.
