Job description

Munck Wilson Mandala is currently seeking an experienced litigation legal assistant/paralegal for its Houston office in the Galleria area to support as many as five busy attorneys in a highly collaborative working environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of litigation experience in a large or mid-sized law firm. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, state and federal e-filing, Styles, Table of Contents and Authorities, and trial preparation is required, as are excellent written and oral communication, proofreading, and organizational skills. Ideal candidate must have extensive experience working with federal court matters and should be detail-oriented, be able to multitask and prioritize the workload independently, and be comfortable working in a high-volume, high-energy environment. In addition to the legal assistant responsibilities, the ideal candidate will be expected to assist with paralegal tasks as needed to support the litigation team. This position is on-site and requires attendance in the Houston office five days per week.
