Job summary

Haynes and Boone, LLP in Dallas, TX seeks a Litigation Docket Clerk to enter court documents, calendar deadlines, and monitor dockets for timely filings. The role supports the Managing Clerk's Office and provides procedural guidance to attorneys and paralegals.

You will handle CM/ECF, NYSCEF, ACMS filings and coordinate with courts, process servers, vendors, and internal teams. A college degree is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in docketing, or comparable litigation support roles at a law firm.
• Familiarity with federal and state court rules and procedures, especially Texas state and federal systems.
• Proficiency in electronic filing using CM/ECF, NYSCEF, and ACMS; familiarity with additional state filing systems is a plus.
• Experience with CourtAlert or similar docketing/calendar software (eDockets, CompuLaw).
• Experience handling large volumes of PDFs and converting them to court-compliant formats.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain court filings, orders, and case correspondence in the docketing system.
• Calendar deadlines per rules and individual judges' rules.
• Monitor dockets and notify attorneys of important developments.
• Review documents for format, fees, exhibits, and service issues.
• Handle electronic and in-person filings across multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide guidance on court procedures to attorneys and paralegals.
• Maintain precedent forms and staff training resources.
