Job summary

C&M Legal Search is seeking litigation defense associate attorneys for a Texas civil defense firm in Austin (with Houston, Dallas, San Antonio offices considered). Five or more openings exist for entry to mid-senior level attorneys, with supervised mentorship and long-term growth prospects.

Compensation ranges from $120,000 to $275,000+ base, DOE, plus an annual billable bonus. The firm offers unlimited PTO, 401K match, full benefits, and a hybrid work model (2 days in / 3 days out).

Qualifications

• Must have excellent writing and research abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and client communications.
• Willingness to travel across Texas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active general liability and insurance defense caseload.
• Handle automobile, premises, personal injury, and general liability defense matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and client reports.
