Job summary

Leoforce seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney for a remote role based in Arizona. The candidate will manage a diverse defense docket across state and federal courts, representing carriers, self-insured employers, and private businesses. AZ Bar admission and recent defense litigation experience are required.

The position offers a pathway to grow a broad defense practice with opportunities across Arizona and neighboring states. Offices exist in Phoenix for in-person needs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of Arizona defense matters from intake through hearing, trial, or settlement in state and federal courts and administrative forums
• Represent insurance carriers, self-insured employers, private businesses, and third-party administrators
• Appear at hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences on behalf of carriers, employers, and their insureds
• Draft pleadings, position statements, discovery, motions, and briefs in court and administrative settings
• Advise clients on coverage, claim handling, and risk, with the goal of early resolution where it makes sense

We have offices in Phoenix, Denver and Salt Lake City.

This is a chance to take ownership of your own docket early and build a broad defense practice.

• Manage a diverse caseload of Arizona defense matters from intake through hearing, trial, or settlement in state and federal courts and administrative forums
• Represent insurance carriers, self-insured employers, private businesses, and third-party administrators
• Appear at hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences on behalf of carriers, employers, and their insureds
• Draft pleadings, position statements, discovery, motions, and briefs in court and administrative settings
• Advise clients on coverage, claim handling, and risk, with the goal of early resolution where it makes sense

Required

• AZ Bar Admission
• Recent defense litigation experience
• Also open to anyone from a district court background
