Jobot, a rapidly growing regional personal injury law firm, is seeking a dynamic Litigation Attorney to join our high-performing legal team in Mississippi.

The ideal candidate will handle all phases of litigation, from pleadings to trial, with strong trial, mediation, and arbitration experience, plus solid research and client communications.

Qualifications

• JD required and active license to practice law.
• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience, preferably in corporate sector.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation from initiation to disposition, including drafting pleadings, discovery, pre-trial motions, and trial preparation.
• Represent the company in all courtroom proceedings, mediation sessions, and arbitration hearings.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and stay updated with laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop the best legal strategy for each case.
• Negotiate settlements in the best interest of the company, considering all legal and business implications.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on potential litigation risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing clear and concise communication throughout the litigation process.
