BD&J Injury Lawyers in Los Angeles is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to handle high-value personal injury cases from filing through trial. This full-time, onsite role offers an opportunity to work with experienced trial attorneys and a broad support team in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a JD from an accredited law school and a California Bar license, with 1+ year of litigation experience.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active California Bar license.
• 1+ year of litigation experience in personal injury or civil litigation preferred.
• Strong oral and written advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of litigated personal injury matters from filing to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Attend and argue at court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Work closely with clients, experts, and medical providers to build strong case strategies.
• Oversee and direct paralegals and legal assistants assigned to litigation cases.
• Maintain strong communication with clients to keep them informed and supported.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and pre-trial preparations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on high-exposure and complex matters.
• Maintain case files and documentation in compliance with legal and firm standards.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven attorney with a passion for advocacy and courtroom practice to handle complex and high-value personal injury cases from filing through trial. The ideal candidate is confident, client-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment. You will work alongside experienced trial attorneys and litigation support teams while having access to a wide range of resources to help deliver exceptional results for our clients. This is a full-time, onsite position based out of our Los Angeles office.

Skills & Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active California Bar license
• 1+ years of litigation experience in personal injury or civil litigation preferred
• Strong oral and written advocacy skills
• Experience handling depositions, mediations, and motion work
• Ability to manage a litigation caseload independently
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Client-centered approach with strong interpersonal communication
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
