Consilio LLC, Lawyers on Demand, is seeking an experienced attorney to join its litigation team representing a large municipality in Atlanta.

In this role you will handle the full lifecycle of civil and employment defense litigation, from strategy and discovery to depositions, mediation, and trial preparation.

Candidates must have 10+ years' experience, Georgia bar in good standing, and strong research and writing skills; first or second chair trial experience preferred.

Our client is a large municpality that is seeking an experienced attorney to join its litigation team. This is a great opportunity to represent a government client in a wide variety of matters.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will be representing a large municipality in the full lifecycle of litigation matters, from developing strategy, discovery, taking and defending depositions, settlement negotiations, mediation, and hearing/trial preparation.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of civil and employment defense litigation experience, ideally including appellate work, in both state and federal courts
• First or second chair trial experience is strongly preferred, as well as experience handling administrative hearings
• Candidates must have strong legal research and writing skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a large legal team
• License to practice law in Georgia, active and in good standing, is required

Hours: 40 hours per week

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Indefinite (6+ months)

Location: Atlanta

Pay Rate: $75/hour
