Job description

Procopio is seeking a mid‑level Associate with 5–7 years of State and Federal litigation experience to join the firm’s Litigation Team in San Diego and/or Del Mar Heights. This role focuses on business, corporate, construction, real‑estate, IP, and corporate litigation. Responsibilities include drafting motions, discovery requests and responses, meet‑and‑confers, trial briefs, settlement agreements, and client reports. The candidate should have argued minor motions, handled routine court and arbitration appearances, taken and defended depositions, and assisted in trial and/or arbitration hearing preparation.

This position requires California bar admission, excellent academic credentials, strong writing, verbal, analytical, and research skills. Experience in moot court, law review, and a judicial clerkship are highly desirable. The proposed salary is $195,000–$225,000, with performance‑based incentive compensation potentially bringing total annual compensation to $280,000–$335,000.
