The role covers a full spectrum of general litigation for corporate and individual clients, including employment, municipal, toxic tort defense, and personal injury defense, with opportunity to lead cases and collaborate across the firm. The ideal candidate will have WV bar admission, 2-7 years of general litigation experience, strong writing and oral advocacy skills, and

Qualifications

• WV bar admission in good standing
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• 2–7 years of general litigation experience
• Trial experience preferred
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills

Responsibilities

• Lead clients through litigation including depositions and courtroom strategy
• Provide analysis and counsel on legal policy and client positions
• Conduct and coordinate research; interview clients and witnesses; manage pre-trial preparation
• Independently manage case timelines and deadlines
• Represent clients in various legal proceedings and hearings
• Draft briefs, pleadings, and motions; prepare for trial and depositions
