Qualifications

• Approximately 2 to 7 years of civil litigation experience, ideally including insurance defense, general liability, property and casualty, or coverage work
• Managing a litigation caseload independently, including drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, and communicating directly with claims professionals
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Comfort working directly with insurance carrier clients and adjusting to the pace and reporting expectations of claims driven work
• A collaborative mindset and interest in long term growth within a firm rather than a transactional, short term role
• Prior exposure to subrogation, bad faith litigation, products liability, construction defect, or maritime and transportation claims
