Job summary

In-Finite Search Solutions in Detroit seeks a Litigation Attorney with 5–8 years of civil litigation experience. The role focuses on high-exposure matters with opportunities for courtroom involvement, direct client contact, and long-term growth within a collaborative, mentorship-rich environment.

The ideal candidate will handle complex cases, manage depositions, mediations, and trials, and contribute to strategy and risk assessment while maintaining a busy, meaningful caseload in a hybrid

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Michigan bar admission or ability to waive into Michigan.
• 5-8 years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in transportation, insurance defense, trucking, or product/liability litigation preferred.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage cases and client relationships independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage a civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Conduct and defend depositions, including party, fact witness, and expert depositions.
• Lead and participate in mediations, settlement conferences, hearings, and court appearances.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation-related filings.
• Develop case strategies and advise clients on risk, exposure, and resolution options.
• Handle all phases of trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit management.
