A well-established boutique California litigation firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its Los Angeles office.

The role involves representing schools, educational institutions and education-sector clients across a diverse range of civil litigation matters, including:

• Personal injury and general liability defense
• Professional liability
• Business and commercial litigation
• Other complex civil claims

The attorney will have significant responsibility for their own matters, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, court appearances, settlement negotiations and trial preparation.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience
• Insurance defense, personal injury defense, professional liability or business litigation experience
• Strong deposition and discovery experience
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to independently manage a caseload

Prior education-sector experience is welcome but not essential. Attorneys with transferable insurance defense or civil litigation experience are encouraged to apply.

Compensation: $160,000-$240,000 DOE

This is an excellent opportunity to handle a varied litigation caseload while developing specialist expertise representing education-sector clients.
