Job summary

AMS Staffing Inc. is seeking a Litigation Attorney for a remote Colorado role focusing on first-party property insurance disputes in state and federal court. The attorney will draft and argue motions, handle pleadings and discovery, take depositions, attend mediations, and participate in trials.

Federal court experience is required and strong writing skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be admitted to the Colorado Bar with 2+ years of property insurance litigation experience, including

Qualifications

• Active member of the Colorado Bar.
• At least two years of property insurance litigation experience; 1+ year considered for right candidate.
• Experience drafting dispositive and discovery motions.
• Excellent research and writing abilities; strong analytical skills.
• Deposition, mediation and trial experience a must.

Responsibilities

Job Description

A reputable firm known for its civil litigation practice, is seeking a junior to mid level attorney with first-party property litigation experience in Colorado. The attorney will be responsible for handling cases in which the firm represents property owners and contractors in first-party insurance disputes. Job duties will include drafting and arguing motions, drafting pleadings and discovery documents, taking and defending depositions, attending mediations, conducting trials and participating in firm sponsored marketing events. Federal Court litigation experience is required. The ideal candidate will have experience litigating first-party property and bad faith claims in state and federal court. Must have trial experience.
