Job summary

Martin Pringle seeks a litigation attorney with 2–5 years of experience to join the Wichita, Kansas office. The role offers opportunities to take a meaningful role from start to finish, with frequent courtroom and deposition activity and mentorship in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice in Kansas; eligible to be admitted in Missouri.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Experience handling all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, and trials.
• Interest in civil/commercial litigation, insurance defense, or healthcare defense.

Responsibilities

• Manage all stages of litigation from discovery to trial.
• Engage in mediation, depositions, and hearings as needed.
• Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategy and arguments.

What We're Looking For:

• 2-5 years of litigation experience, ideally with a background and/or interest in civil/commercial litigation, insurance defense, or healthcare negligence defense
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Experience in handling all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and trials - or strong motivation to learn to do so from seasoned litigators
• A proactive, team-oriented approach and excellent communication skills
• Admitted to practice in Kansas, and eligible to be admitted in Missouri
