Job summary

Martin Pringle is seeking a skilled and motivated litigation attorney with 0-5 years of experience to join our Overland Park, Kansas office. This is a strong opportunity to advance litigation expertise in a collegial and supportive environment.

You will handle a dynamic caseload, gain courtroom, mediation, and deposition experience, and work with a well-established client base across commercial litigation, insurance defense, medical and nursing home negligence defense, and other civil matters.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Admitted to practice in Kansas or Missouri, and eligible to be admitted in both states.
• Experience handling all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and trials or willingness to learn from seasoned litigators.

What We're Looking For:

• 0-5 years of litigation experience, ideally with a background and/or interest in insurance defense, healthcare negligence defense, or civil litigation
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Experience in handling all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, and trials - or strong motivation to learn to do so from seasoned litigators
• A proactive, team-oriented approach and excellent communication skills
• Admitted to practice in Kansas or Missouri, and eligible to be admitted in both states
