Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Washington.
• At least three years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience with medical malpractice defense and/or long-term care defense.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, legal research, and written advocacy.
• Ability to manage cases independently and exercise sound legal judgment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution.
• Represent clients in medical malpractice and long-term care defense cases.
• Advise clients regarding professional licensing and regulatory compliance matters.
• Handle guardianship law matters and related legal proceedings.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other case documents.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Develop case strategies and communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and legal teams.
• Operate with increasing autonomy while collaborating with experienced attorneys for mentorship and strategic guidance.
