Job Title: Litigation Attorney
Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in Newport Beach, CA, is seeking a qualified Litigation Attorney to join its practice group. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about litigation and client service. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation, creditors’ rights, and real estate law, with a focus on providing high-quality legal support to clients in the financial sector.
Duties:
- Represent clients in litigation matters, focusing on real estate, civil litigation, and creditors’ rights.
- Handle bench trials and motions, demonstrating a strong foundation in civil procedure, motions, and loss mitigation.
- Manage cases effectively using case management and reporting software.
- Attend court appearances and travel as necessary.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure proactive communication and excellent client care.
- Demonstrate expertise in Title & Lien Priority, Title Claims, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA, and FDCPA matters.
- Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
- Member in good standing of the California State Bar.
- 5+ years of experience in real estate, civil litigation, and/or creditors’ rights.
- Strong knowledge of civil procedure, motions, and litigation practices.
- Comfortable with court appearances and travel as required.
- Proficient in case management software.
- Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Dedicated to client satisfaction and effective problem-solving.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active CA Bar License (required).
- Additional Bar Licenses are a plus.
Skills:
